Keep the volume of your music and voices to a reasonable level. Remember “darkness is not sound proof.” Be considerate of your neighbours.
Quiet time is 11PM to 7AM including generator operation & music. Rowdy behavior, excessive noise, and obscene language is not tolerated at any time of day or night. Authorities will be notified as needed. Eviction from the campsite is also a possibility.
It is against the law to remove, damage or destroy anything in the campground including trees, branches, bark and ground cover. No nails in trees.
Camp ground interior roads are public roadways. All laws regarding operation of motor vehicles do apply. ATV and off road vehicle operators MUST be licensed. Highway Traffic Act applies. Act responsibly.
Speed limit is 10km or DEAD SLOW: CHILDREN PLAYING!
At least one member of your camping group must be at 18 years of age or older.
Big fires are not allowed for safety reasons. Campfires must not be left unattended and are restricted to current fire pits only. No burning of campsite trees, bark, branches or undergrowth (fallen or not).
Pets must be kept under control and on a leash.
They must not be left unattended, must not be allowed to make excessive noise, nor threaten other campers.
Waste shall be cleaned up by pet owner.
Alcohol is permitted in your campsite area only.
Keep your site clean. Garbage disposal and recycling is provided at Blue and McDougal campgrounds.Bagged household garbage only – NO LARGE ITEMS LEFT AT DUMP BINS
Landfill for major items is available in Eldee or a fee can be paid to have it brought out to the landfill.
Fireworks are strictly prohibited.
Laws regarding firearms apply and must be in a case while in the campgrounds
Sewage shall be disposed of at designated dumping stations only.
For your convenience, honey wagons are available for rent.
Chainsaw use in the campgrounds is prohibited.
Visitors must report to the office on arrival. Overnight visitors over 18 are subject to a $5.00 per person per night fee while staying on your sight. A seasonal visitor’s pass can be purchased as well.
The McConnell Lake Campgrounds are not serviced/protected by any municipal fire department. A reported fire from here is considered a potential forest fire and the MNR fire response department is notified.
It is important that all persons are aware of the evacuation/assembly/accounting area.
